JRocket Marketing Wins Agresso Contract

JRocket Marketing LLC has won an extended marketing contract with Agresso, a wholly owned subsidiary of Netherlands-based Unit 4 Agresso, to promote and introduce the company's highly successful European ERP solution to the U.S. Market.

The Agresso Business World solution is in use by 2,400 organizations worldwide with more than 10,000 sites in 100 countries.

Early market testing of Agresso in North American over the past 18-24 months netted more than 60 U.S. and Canadian clients, besting mid-market competitors like Lawson and Deltek, and giving chase to ERP leaders Oracle, JD Edwards and Peoplesoft brands. JRocket Marketing will focus on the advantages of the company's distinct architecture that provides unlimited post-implementation agility - which JRocket Marketing's team says is not a characteristic of any of the leading ERP providers.

Judith Rothrock, JRocket Marketing's president, will serve as corporate Chief Marketing Officer for Agresso - North America. Ms. Rothrock is a former marketing head for Hyperion, Lawson and Ceridian, and since founding JRocket Marketing in 2001, has managed marketing programs for Deltek, Fujitsu Glovia, SRC, Arbitron and two dozen other enterprise solution providers. Ms. Rothrock will also head Agresso's technology analyst relations function, one of the key offerings of JRocket Marketing.

"Rothrock's references are impeccable -- she has a reputation for carving out strong niches in even crowded markets, and building memorable brands," said Ab von Marion, chief operating officer, Agresso. "Industry influencers clearly cite and remember what she did to build Deltek's brand over the past three years and Lawson's in the late 90's. Agresso has a unique value proposition that has netted sales and profitability, but wants to more crisply define its market differentiation for the kind of rapid growth we have in mind."

As part of JRocket Marketing's branding and validation activities, Ms. Rothrock is partnering with ERP industry veterans Brian Sommer, president of Techventive; John Van Decker, senior vice president of the Robert Frances Group; and KCSA Worldwide for public relations. The firm will also be working with Technology Evaluation to gain key industry research and sales lead support, and internally will liaise with Unit 4 Agresso product marketing manager Ton Dobbe.
